I desire to express my thanks to The Benevolent Association for its kindness to me. To mortal sense I was suffering from an attack of bronchitis accompanied by extreme weakness and exhaustion. While I seemed to be growing weaker and in need of care and appetizing food, your doors swung open to receive me. There I found perfect peace, quiet, and harmony; discord was non-existent; everybody was cheerful; everybody was smiling; everybody was happy; more-everybody was social and helpful to every other body. Never before have I been a member of such a sunny household. The effect upon me was most beneficial, so that in ten days I was home again quite well. To enter this Home was indeed a great privilege, wherefore I feel deeply grateful to all who aided in making it possible.
