Just before Christmas I slipped on an icy walkway and hit my head with great force. When I was able to get up with the help of a contractor doing work at my office, I found that I was challenged with dizziness and blurred vision, as well as an unsettled stomach. Since I work alone, this kind contractor called a church member at my request who promptly alerted other members to help me. When this help arrived, I was asked if I wanted to have an ambulance take me to a local hospital, or did I want to go to the BA. My husband arrived and we made our way to the BA.
The love, encouragement, support, and expectation of healing I received upon my arrival was beyond my fondest hopes. Even though to mortal sense I was “out of it” I could feel the love all around me, and I knew I would have my healing. We contacted a Christian Science Journal-listed practitioner, and I was made comfortable. For the next day and a half I spent every waking moment in prayer and gratitude for the blessings God had given me. All the symptoms were removed and within two days I was able to return home, free!
What a blessing the BA was. Gentle care, loving encouragement, smiling support and expectation created an atmosphere which enabled me to concentrate on healing. The days there were like a sanctuary from the world’s opinion of dire consequences, and healing was the result.
