How to Help Care for Our Fellow Church Members Workshop is a workshop that provides practical information to those providing care and support to people seeking healing through Christian Science. It provides a foundation for ethical, practical, and compassionate steps to support those needing assistance or care and springs from Mary Baker Eddy’s By-law, “Christian Science Nurse” (Church Manual, Art. VIII, Sect. 31). The following points are covered during the workshop:

• The ethics and principles of helping others
• Discuss hypotheticals
• Hands-on demonstrations of simple skills, such as helping an
  individual get out of a low chair
• Christian Science and community resources
• There is ample opportunity for questions and answers
