Dear Mr. Fletcher –

I wish to express my very deep gratitude for the privilege of being a guest at the [BA], December 5th through to the 12th.

I arrived at the Sanatorium exhausted in mind and body, with scarcely enough energy to carry my bags to my room. I surely needed the healing environment afforded by this haven and am grateful to say I received abundantly. The healing started the very next morning, for upon appearing for breakfast in the dining room, I was met with quiet courtesy and was waited on by the young associate with such sweetness of manner that my unrest was stilled and I felt the first break in the mesmerism that had seemed so real to me. My first morning of quiet study in the recreation room, with a repetition of my experience in the Dining Room for lunch, was such that that afternoon in my room I enjoyed the first quiet restful sleep I had enjoyed in weeks. From then on my recovery was rapid, so that the day before I left the [BA] I enjoyed a four mile brisk walk in the crisp morning air, without any sense of fatigue.

Since returning home I have continued to progress and really feel entirely well. The healing Truth, as taught by our Leader has again been demonstrated. She writes in Science and Health, page 182: “Obedience to material law prevents full obedience to spiritual law, – the law which overcomes material conditions and puts matter under the feet of Mind.” And again, IBID 183, “The supposed laws which result in weariness and disease are not His laws, for the legitimate and only possible action of Truth is the production of harmony.” Just as soon as I put myself under the law of God I received help and healing.

From one who, just so recently has benefitted so richly from the ministrations of the BA, I send to you and [the] Associates my most sincere greetings at this holiday season. As promised to the young lady of the ration office, I am enclosing some blue tickets of which I have an abundant supply, so that they may be shared by someone possibly in need.

Very Sincerely Yours,

Mr. A.E. M

  1. James Early says:

My Grandmother had a healing at the BA many, many years ago. I don’t know exactly when. Is there a way to find out if you have a record of it from all your research?

  2. Sarah O'Brien says:

I am very grateful for all the work of the staff at the BA and appreciate hearing of “the triumphs Love hath won.” Thanks so much for sharing. : )
