We are grateful for every proof of God’s care for His children. Each year since since the BA opened its doors in 1919 has been filled with blessings and proofs of Christian Science healing. In recognition of the loving and devoted work of Christian Science practitioners and Christian Science nurses over the years, we’ve been highlighting a few of the many healing testimonies shared by former guests and patients. My experience of a first ever18 year old teenager to take the course.
It was necessary to ask the Board of Directors Of the Mother Church if they would consider lowering the age of a student who wanted to enter nurses training (At that time you had to be 21) The day after graduating from high school, I was on a plane to Boston.
The supervisors were very supportive of a lively teenager. At that time you needed to have class instruction. Time was given to me to take class instruction.
I have loved being a Christian Science nurse for close to 50 years. Loved every minute?
