Congratulations to all the graduates being honored this year! it is an inspiring achievement and we are grateful for your dedication and commitment to Christian Science nursing.
Daughter of patience, compassion and care,
Martha and Mary, united in Love,
Yours a persuasion of unceasing prayer —
Yours a profession ordained from above.
Hearts who would vanquish mortality’s claim
Find in your gentleness heavenly rest.
Trusting the wisdom you use in His name,
Fearless we turn to the Christ, and are blest.
CSJ January 1968
Thank you, each of you, for being unselfish and loving your fellowman (and woman!) enough to become a Christian Science nurse!
Because of your professional training, you know how to help in the most needed, effective way. You are not a “buddy”. You are a witness to the Truth. We appreciate your support, as you work with us and a Christian Science Practitioner.
Congratulations!
Congratulations. It’s a great profession, I saw most everything healed–some had been medically diagnosed. I’m happy I chose this work. Be smart and don’t move a lot. Moving around makes it harder financially. I did most of my work in facilities — loved it. However Visiting Nursing was the most rewarding as people were so grateful to be able to stay in their homes. Do join and be active in church work. Let your light shine there. Hopefully you can quickly become chairman of a Committee that makes it easier to fit into your work schedules. All the best to you.
Congratulations to all! Thank you for your loving commitment to the great cause of Christian Science. Godspeed!
How wonderful! You have reached the high goal of being a Christian Science nurse. Well done! I know how much your work will be appreciated as you express needed love, compassion, spiritual support, as well as “the practical wisdom necessary in a sick room.” You must never let anything or anyone make you forget that you are bringing blessings to those in need.
Mrs. Eddy once defined keeping your watch as defeating the mesmerist, breaking the belief that mesmerism has power, and breaking the supposed laws that the mesmerist can produce suffering asleep or awake. (See “We Knew Mary Baker Eddy”, expanded edition pages 447-450) You will be required to keep your watch. I know that with the training you have received, you are able to do this. To paraphrase Paul in his letter to the Galatians, You have run well. What can hinder you that you cannot obey the Truth? NOTHING!
Have a glorious time in your new career.
Congratulations to all the graduates. This is an inspiring and inspired achievement! You are needed! Thank you for your commitment to Christian Science.
Congratulations! You will find that the practical skills you have learned and the spiritual progress you have made will carry you on through every experience. Thank you for your service.
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” Go forward with rejoicing.
Wonderful to know that you will all be serving this healing Cause! Congratulations to each of you. The power and grace of Love is with you and will guide your every thought and action in your unselfed service.. You are cherished. Thank you for your willingness to let your light shine.
Big Hugs,
Ginny
“So shalt thou be with power endued
Like him who went about
The Syrian hillsides doing good
And casting demons out.
The Great Physician liveth yet
Thy friend and guide to be;
The Healer by Gennesaret
Shall walk the rounds with thee.”
Christian Science Hymnal # 96 by: John Greenleaf Whittier

To Paula Brensinger, a great decision at much personal sacrifice. You are to be congratulated so very much. Thank you all again.
Many years ago I was working in the dining room at the BA, and made friends with a handful of Christian Science Nurses in training. Some of them came across the Atlantic from Britain by sea, the only way to cross in those days. Now to learn there are 18 fully trained Christian Science Nurses graduating this Sunday fills me with joy and much gratitude. Congratulations to each of you dear ones. God will continue to guide and inspire you.
Thank you and congratulations! May God bless you and your work.
Congratulations to all, and especially to my friend Heather Vaseff , who is among them!
