Experts in many fields present captivating and inspiring talks to the BA’s Independent Living residents. Earlier this year award-winning children’s book author Sara Hoagland Hunter and illustrator Julia Miner came to the BA.  In this second audio installment, Sara describes the humility of these amazing men as they shared their stories — Navajo Code Talkers during World War II. And then how her resulting book went into a print-run of 100,000 copies after being selected by the state of Arizona’s children’s literacy program.
