On Tuesday, November 27, individuals, families, charities, and businesses are coming together to celebrate #GivingTuesday, which by the way comes immediately after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This is an opportunity to transform the way we think about, talk about, and participate in the giving season.
It’s a simple idea: find a way for your family, your community, your business, or your charity, to join in acts of giving. Tell everyone you can about what you are doing and why it matters. Join a national celebration of our great tradition of generosity.
There are a number of ways you can get involved in #GivingTuesday – as an individual, charity, business, or social media blogger. You can:
- Make a contribution to your favorite causes on or around #GivingTuesday.
- Spread the word about #GivingTuesday—Tweet it, Like it, and tell your friends.
- Contribute through your business and encourage employees to contribute.
We encourage you to contribute to your favorite charities on November 27. We hope that you will include the Benevolent Association on #GivingTuesday through our secure donation page, or by signing up to volunteer your time at the BA during the year.
