The Nation’s Economy and Christian Science Nursing

Employment challenges

A recent online story in The Christian Science Monitor caught my eye, and I want to share it with you. Mark Trumbull writes:

“For the first time since the Great Recession, polls are finding a majority of Americans with positive feelings about the economy. The shift doesn’t mean the economy is moving into overdrive, nor does it alleviate the challenges that millions of Americans still feel – from stretched family budgets to unemployment.”

We’re all so grateful for any news that points to a positive turnaround in thought about the economy — but let’s face it, there are still many Americans that have been out of work, out of their career path, for months and sometimes years.

Holding to the spiritual fact that God’s love, protection and ever-prsent abundance are always at hand can break the mesmerism of unemployment. Sometimes looking beyond what we think we know about ourselves, and what we think defines us, can open our thought and unfold the next step in healing and progress.

 A gift from the BA

CSN pamphlet photoTo this end the BA would like to offer you a small gift that has helped others to discover their next step forward. The gift is a pamphlet put out by The Christian Science Publishing Society entitled: To Be a Christian Science Nurse. Actually, even if you are not thinking about exploring the healing ministry of Christian Science nursing for yourself, we think you’ll find this pamphlet inspiring and uplifting.
