Volunteers make a vital contribution to the BA and its healing mission. The following gallery offers a glimpse into the many ways volunteers bless patients, residents and guests—they bring music, joy, and a deep desire to make a difference.
One of many individual volunteers
Greg Sahagen loves sharing his musical talents as a regular volunteer for BA residents and guests. In this podcast he tells the BA’s Monty Haas, “There’s a real appreciation here, and love and gratitude.” Greg even wrote song lyrics about the loving care offered by Christian Science nurses. Volunteer Group offers a hand
A large group of volunteers wanted to give back to the BA and generously spent most of a recent Saturday working with our staff to enhance gardens and landscaping. They stopped for a mid-day BBQ prepared by Chef Mark.
Volunteer musicians from New England Conservatory
New England Conservatory has been generously sharing its outstanding musicians with patients, guests and residents at the BA for several years. The variety and quality of their music is greatly appreciated!
