Volunteering that makes a difference

Volunteers make a vital contribution to the BA and its healing mission.  The following gallery offers a glimpse into the many ways volunteers bless patients, residents and guests—they bring music, joy, and a deep desire to make a difference.

Volunteer Group offers a hand

A large group of volunteers wanted to give back to the BA and generously spent most of a recent Saturday working with our staff to enhance gardens and landscaping. They stopped for a mid-day BBQ prepared by Chef Mark.

Volunteer musicians from New England Conservatory

New England Conservatory has been generously sharing its outstanding musicians with patients, guests and residents at the BA for several years.  The variety and quality of their music is greatly appreciated!
