Assist our Development Team and play a key administrative role in the Development Office while processing gifts and handling acknowledgement letters in support of the healing mission of the BA.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Loves working in a fast-paced environment on multiple tasks with limited supervision
  • Enjoys being busy and having the day fly by
  • Prefers order and structure with room for creativity
  • Is highly organized and with great attention to detail
  • Is a persistent list-keeper, and organizes the next day’s tasks before leaving the office for the day
  • Comfortable in a digital environment where learning new computer skills and software is natural
  • Enjoys working in their own office onsite at the Benevolent Association in Chestnut Hill, MA

 

Requirements:

  • Accuracy in data entry and database management
  • Exceptional organization and written/verbal communication skills, proofreading skills a must
  • Fast learner with ability to multi-task and meet timeframes with minimal supervision
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Business or nonprofit experience helpful but not required
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Member of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, MA
  • Primary class instruction preferred, but not required
