Marketing Coordinator

As a key part of our Marketing team, you’ll create and coordinate the BA’s social media activities and other communication projects. You’ll be tasked to design and present digital and print content that promotes the work and mission of the BA in an engaging way. Program priorities include: Christian Science nursing, the Christian Science Nurses Training School, The Residences at 910, among others.

This position reports to Marketing Manager and works with the Director of Development, department managers and other BA staff. May work with outside media consultants, designers and vendors, and supporters and friends of the BA. Executes communications for the BA’s marketing and development, including:

  • Create and manage social media including design, copy, scheduling and posting
  • Coordinate email marketing including design, content and production
  • Design and production for print and digital marketing collateral
  • Take and edit photographs and videos for use in print and online
  • Update and maintain WordPress website
  • Make accurate revisions to projects
  • Support other marketing activities as needed including events and administrative tasks
  • Participate in training and ongoing educational opportunities
  • Other duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Ability to approach communications projects with metaphysical maturity and a healing tone. Essential job-related experience or skills required include:

  • 1+ years of experience in a marketing communications role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or related field.
  • Excellent written, verbal, design and proof-reading skills
  • Creativity with attention to detail
  • Experience and enthusiasm for collaboration and working within a team
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Computer expertise in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, email marketing programs, maintaining
  • WordPress websites
  • Interest in building skills in marketing, technology and tools
  • Membership in The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston, MA preferred but not required
