Giving Guide

Called for by Mary Baker Eddy, The Christian Science Board of Directors announced the establishment of the Christian Science Benevolent Association in 1916. Since its opening in 1919, the BA has provided Christian Science nursing services, Christian Science nurses training, and rooms for Rest & Study. A residential program was added in 1975. The BA’s name was changed to Chestnut Hill Benevolent Association in 1981 when it became an independent trusteeship with its own governing board and financial responsibilities.
At the heart of all the activities of the BA is healing. Your gift to the BA supports the healing activity of Church and helps ensure the availability of Christian Science nursing for those in need of care.
