Come to Boston for a continuing education workshop!

Chestnut Hill Benevolent Association is offering a one-day continuing education workshop for Journal-listed Christian Science nurses.

Topic: Refining ethics, judgment and skills in relation to the advanced Christian Science nursing arts

When: Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 9am to 4pm (includes a 2-hour lunch break)

Cost: $200 (please inquire about grants available)

Where: Christian Science Nurses Training School, Chestnut Hill Benevolent Association

During the workshop, we’ll focus primarily on our ministry in assisting with activity (mobility, lifting, moving) and with cleansing and bandaging. Our time together will include discussion regarding ethics and substantial work together with the art and skill to support our ministry of Christian Science nursing.

“We’re grateful to be able to offer this one-day workshop in support of Christian Science nurses,” says Heather Worley, Acting Director of Christian Science Nurses Training at the BA. “We thought it would be especially timely for those who might be coming to Boston for Annual Meeting and would like the opportunity for continuing education.”

The Benevolent Association is located about 4 miles west of The Mother Church. We have discounted rooms available for those who wish to stay overnight.
