The BA Blog

A Note from Janiva...

Dear Friends,

As the BA moves forward as an organization, we embraced the opportunity to update our graphics with a more modern look and feel. You’ll notice our new logo and format in this newsletter. Our former logo was created two decades ago and has served us well. We loved the window which represents letting in the light of the Christ. Going forward, our goal was to create an updated visual identity in keeping with the BA’s rich history and stewardship of its mission as a refuge for healing. ‘New look, same location’ is something we’ve been talking about a lot within the BA, and now we’re excited to share with you some of the first steps we’re taking.

With a beautiful line drawing of our Original Building at the center, our new logo gives a strong nod to the fact that we are staying in our original location—our 24-acre campus in Chestnut Hill. We’ve brightened up our signature blue and our new typeface emphasizes Benevolent Association while still keeping Chestnut Hill in the name.

In the spirit of ‘new look, same location’ we also have launched a new website at our same address: www.chbenevolent.org. With the goal of improving navigability, the new website features many improvements in things like employment applications that are easier to submit online, information about our Christian Science Nurses Training School that’s easier to find, and a streamlined process for giving to the BA. You’ll also notice all new photography that reflects a lightness, brightness, and joy representing the healing mission of the BA.

With gratitude for your support,

Janiva
